ED12 BOWL GUARD - RETROFIT

Fitting Instructions

Place the two side wings approx 4-5mm below underside of mixer to allow for
casting radius, flush with edge of column and mark the position of the 2 fixing
per wing on column, drill and tap for 6mm screws(or drill clearance and retain
with nuts) attach the two wings. Mark & drill vertical from underside, a hole
for cable to pass into Body of machine. Route cable into body of machine and
connect wires in series with stop switch. i.e between terminal 2 on potentiometer & stop push button, on machine fitted with Tuscan motors or between terminal 4 on PCB and stop push button on machine fitted with Biamain motor.
Fit Bowl Guard around planetary casting and position with approx 20mm between
top of the bowl and the 4 guard pillars. Tighten the 4 grub screws to secure in
position. Test for suitable operation and if necessary align by adjusting
either wings or guard.
